The evolution continues
The validation process continues for the prototype NED VD - Nano Eye Device for Virus Detection. The evolution of the NED DP and NED DH systems continues; updated with new applications and functionalities, the path towards artificial intelligence has been undertaken.

In partnership with CNT Italian National Transplant Centre validation NED-DP. In the same time Development New NED DH for hematology
A new partnership with the Italian National Transplant Centre for the creation of a remote analysis tool for pre-transplant histological samples of procured organs. Simultaneous development of the NED DH project for Digital Haematology, presented to the national scientific community during the SIBIOC and SIPMEL congresses after obtaining CE-IVDR certification. CE-IVDR certification also obtained for NRD DP. NTP reaches a convertible loan agreement with Cassa Deposito e Prestiti.

The birth of molecular diagnostics for Sars-Cov2
Start of the new molecular diagnostics project for Sars-Cov2 detection. IAG funds NTP and Trentino Invest also enters the corporate structure as a co-investor. Al NED VD granted European patent.

NED DP completes the CE-IVD certification process and is presented to the national SIAPEC congress in Turin.

New investment of Italian Angels for Growth (IAG) with Trentino Sviluppo. Opening of the Rovereto (TN) office and release of the second NED VD prototype; patent granted in the USA, Japan, Singapore.

Release of the first NED VD prototype - Nano Eye Device for Virus Detection; start of design of the molecular diagnostics process for HPV at the University of Urbino. NTP is recognised as an innovative SME.

Growth and the first NED DP
Seed capital obtained from Italian Angels for Growth (IAG). International Patent Application (PCT) published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Virus Detection. Release of the first NED DP prototype - Nano Eye Device for Digital Pathology and start of clinical validation at Trento Hospital and Humanitas Research, Rozzano (MI).

NTP is recognised as the first Italian innovative start-up with a social vocation. Start of projects for NED DP - Nano Eye Device for Digital Pathology and NED VD - Nano Eye Device for Virus Detection, with the granting of European funding under EU project H2020 SMEINST Phase 1 and issuing of Italian patent for Virus Detection.
